Haskorea

Haskorea is a Capsicum annuum from Syria and is very similar to the aleppo. Think of it as a larger and spicier Aleppo. By hotter, we’re talking in the 20+K SHU range. Hotter, but still very manageable. In our experience, it fits comfortably in the mild-to-medium range rather than anything extreme. The flavor, delicious.

Flavor is the primary selling point for the haskorea. It is earthy and slightly sweet, with a rounded pepper taste that works well dried and ground. This is the kind of pepper folks use for flakes or powder and sprinkle into food for warmth and depth rather than sharp heat.
