Roma VF Tomato

Roma VF is a compact, productive tomato known for its firm, oval-shaped fruit and reliable performance. It produces thick-walled tomatoes with low moisture, making it well suited for sauces, paste, and cooking. Verticillium and fusarium wilt resistance is a huge plus.

Between this and San Marzano, these are our two go-to tomatoes for the family sauce recipe. Thank heavens for the KitchenAid deseeder/deskinner; toss in a pepper or two along the way. Stand back and the sauce cooks down till it’s nice and thick!
