Rezha Macedonian

Rezha Macedonian is an annuum, and the corking is the whole point. The name Rezha means engraved. People also call it Vezeni Piperki, which means embroidered pepper. Both names refer to the stitched-looking lines on the skin.

Those lines are called corking. It is not damage. It is not a watering issue on this variety. It shows up even under good growing conditions. Some peppers only cork when stressed. This one is bred to do it on purpose. The pattern is usually consistent as the fruit matures.
Heat is very low, usually right around 500 SHU.
