Mustard Ghost

Hot – likely one of the hottest of this particular coloration (Gator Jigsaw being a possible exception).

Mustard Ghost can reach over the 1.5M SHU range given the right growing conditions. This pepper did not receive the title of the world’s hottest pepper but it no slouch! Thin fruit walls, great for quick drying. Oily heat inside.

A little tip for harvesting: since the ripe fruit are green, slight pressure on the stem will help determine whether or not a fruit is ripe. ripe fruit will pop off from the main stem easily!
