Ghosty Hab (peach)

This version of the Ghosty Hab is a peach-ripening habanero × ghost cross offered from our fifth-generation of this cross, sold as sixth-generation seed. The fruit have been selected for taste preference and maintaining traits of both original parents.

The fruit combine a fruity habanero bite with a noticeable ghost pepper aroma that comes through clearly when the fruit is cut. Heat levels average in the 300,000–400,000 SHU range, making it a strong but usable heat source that works especially well for hot sauces where both flavor and punch matter. Through multiple generations we’ve seen the phenotype remain fairly consistent. So, at this stage we’re comfortable releasing it publicly as a stable, reliable cross suited for growers looking for a flavorful, medium-superhot pepper.
