Shasta Daisy!
Shasta daisy is a perennial flower. The Alaska type is the classic look people expect. White petals. Yellow center. Strong summer blooms. It comes back year after year once it’s established. Nothing fancy, just a solid daisy.
This one isn’t a pepper, so growing it is a little different than most of what we do. Shasta daisies like full sun and well-drained soil. They don’t want to sit wet. Water them while they’re getting started, then let them settle in. Deadheading helps keep flowers coming.
We’re adding this one in 2026. It’s one of the girls’ favorites… after zinnias and cosmos. Flowers are the one thing they pack completely on their own. Aves is even working on a custom stamp for the flower envelopes. She’s also managed to raise $250 for Kids Heart Health through the American Heart Association while helping prep flower packs. Big win all around.
Expect at least 200 seeds per pack. Tiny seeds!
