Reaper x Chupetinho Peach

Reaper x Chupetinho Peach is a newer cross with a pretty unusual look. The fruit start light green and ripen to a soft peach color.

Shape wise, you can see traits from both parents. Some pods have the little rounded Chupetinho body, while others show more of the stretched shape and tail you would expect from a Carolina Reaper cross.

Flavor and Heat

Flavor is fruity with a little citrus to it.

Despite the Reaper parentage, this one is nowhere near Reaper heat. We estimate it around 50,000 to 80,000 SHU. That puts it closer to the hotter Chupetinho types than a true superhot.

Chupetinho is also sometimes sold under the name Pimenta de Bico. The much milder versions are often called Biquinho.

Note to Buyers

This is still a newer variety and is not completely stable yet. You may get some variation in pod shape, color, or other traits.

That is part of growing newer crosses. Most should come out pretty close, but genetics occasionally decide to do their own thing.
