Long Piquin/Pequin Pepper
Long Piquin pepper is basically a stretched-out version of the classic pequin pepper. The pods are longer, but the plant and flavor are very similar. It is a Capsicum annuum var. glabriusculum, though its growth habit and upright peppers can look a lot like a frutescens. Heat usually falls somewhere around 40,000 SHU, giving it a sharp, quick bite without reaching superhot territory.

12 days from Sowing seeds. 11 out of 11 sprouted. Mid to upper 80s on seedling heat matt in Fox Farm Happy Frog soil. So far very satisfied as these were the first out of a few other varieties to sprout.
