The Acapulco Purple pepper is an extremely compact ornamental plant. How compact? Well, under a foot tall – making it ideal for container gardening or small spaces. Its upright fruit transition from a dark purple to a bright red as they mature.

Despite its ornamental appeal, this pepper is also quite tasty, offering a heat level between that of a jalapeño and a serrano.
