Sarit Gat
The Sarit Gat pepper (Capsicum annuum) is a medium-hot chili from Kosovo, similar to a yellow cayenne. The plant produces long fruit measuring approximately 2 to 4 inches in length, maturing from green to a canary yellow. The peppers have a citrusy, fruity flavor with a heat level ranging between 30,000 and 50,000 SHU. This variety is highly productive, often requiring staking to support the heavy yield. The plants are relatively compact, reaching heights of 2 to 3 feet, making them suitable for both garden beds and container cultivation.
