Super Hot
Hottest of the hot. The Carolina Reaper is generally recognized as the hottest pepper ever. Pepper gurus view the claim with mild suspicion. A number of other wicked hot gnarly peppers vie for the magical 2 million+ SHU range, some equally as hot, if not hotter than the Carolina Reaper. Genetic instability is common in some of the newer hybrids.
