Ghost peppers, also known as Bhut Jolokia, are one of the hottest chili peppers in the world. They originated in Northeast India, specifically in the states of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur. Ghost peppers are typically orange or red and have a unique, fruity flavor that is often described as both sweet and spicy.
