Orange Spice Jalapeno is a hotter jalapeno-type pepper that ripens to a bright orange. The pods keep the familiar jalapeno shape, but the heat is much stronger than a standard green jalapeno.

Expect around 30,000 SHU or more, depending on growing conditions. That puts it several times hotter than the average jalapeno.

Flavor and Uses

The flavor is still very much in the jalapeno family, with a little extra sweetness as the pods fully ripen. Use them in salsa, tacos, nachos, pickling, hot sauce, or anywhere you want jalapeno flavor with a lot more heat.
